It's that time again, if anyone finds a bug or something wrong with the event just let me know.  Otherwise feel free to spoil yourselves here.

eddo, I was just activating the quests when you were on then.

Just to let everyone know there is an item given out throughout the quest series to help with movement turns.  This is a permanent item that can also be made in the Kitchen.  There is also a less powerful item that already existed that now has a similar effect on movement turns too.

Also the Frozen orb will be a permanent token to reach the Arctic map.  The event quests though are only for a limited time.

Word of warning - don't use your Alliance Ocarina or Tear of Atlantis until you're through with the quest.  I used these while I was at the North Pole, after using my adventures for the day, and found myself back on the main map, in the middle of the mountains far away from any city.  I had to walk crosscountry to the nearest city.  I've used my teleports for today, so now I have to wait for rollover to get back to the North Pole.  (This wasn't a huge incovenience, thanks to the new item, but it was annoying.)

Ogret, how long will the event quests be available?

The Grump Who Stole Crinkle V  - You have successfully defeated the army of Witch Doctor Zuesses.

I have just finished this quest and tried to teleport but the direct teleporter says You stand about, looking confused.  Am I missing something or is there a bug.  I have tried using another frozen orb and that didn't work.  Thanx for the help

That Direct teleporter won't work then.  After you finished The Grump Who Stole Crinkle V it said:
Quote
So you made it past my army, well you’ll never catch me now.
He then disappears through his teleporter to some unknown location.
You better go tell Grim Crinkle what happened.

You walked to the Ice Cave, it wasn't that far...  you should be able to just walk back.

In part VII is there a particular place in the city to find the Grump or can he be anywhere in the city?

He's a tricky one... but he is on one particular building.

I'm having a bitch of a time finding him now, but it's refreshing to die in combat to a massive whale.

And thank you so much for the new item, now to figure out the recipe and I'll never worry about travel distances.

Where do you get the frozen orb? I'm so lost. I tried Cairnopia, but no cigar.

You need to make one.

Kind of mean to make it a requirement, if it were a more common item or a more common recipe, it wouldn't be much of an issue.  Though it's perfectly fitting for being the token to the North Pole.

For those that don't know the recipe

sapphire + icy stone

Candy Cane Sythe

This is the weapon that was once held by the Grim Disciple, now its yours to weld.

I fought the Grim Disciple in the blinding white snow zone.

Incidentally, it's spelled Scythe, and the description should read "now it's yours to wield."
